Nathan and Kelly's Wedding
I'll admit that I had my doubts, and things happened at a breakneck pace (they were engaged a few months, at most, after they met) but they really do seem to be well matched. I've known Nathan for fifteen years or so, so it was unfortunate that I only got to meet Kelly for a few hours. She was pretty busy though, as she was getting married. Oh, and two days after the wedding she has finals--she's studying Law at Cardozo. She didn't seem at all concerned, which may tell you something about Kelly.
|This is Kelly Hall, née McCullough (sp?). I didn't get a chance to know her as well as I would have liked, but she seems really cool. As you can see. She is also blindingly smart, as are her friends from college.|
|One of the high points of the wedding was when Nathan and Kelly played a bunch of Nathan's music. It was awesome.||
|Another window from Nathan's pad. They wake up to this view every morning.|
|The Cube in St. Mark's place is gone!! Wadleigh says that they took it for "cleaning", but I am very, very suspicious.|| |
|My friend Amanda, looking very sophisticated in her new (to me) hair cut.|
|Nathan didn't slave away for the Man for ten years for nothing. He lives on the 53rd floor (the penthouse level) of what I understand to be the tallest residential building in Manhattan. This is his view.|
|I ate here with Nathan years and years ago, but have never been able to find the place on my own. We stopped by, so I took a photo to prove that it does exist. I'll probably never see it again.|
|Closed on Mondays??|
|Apparently the Met is closed on Mondays. Very sad.|| |
|New Hair Color|
|Nathan's new dad wasn't too keen on the idea of pretty hair (not that he'd seen it!) so Nathan asked me to dye it. Actually, he didn't, he said something about "maybe finding a hat for me to wear", but I was more than happy to go black. I tried to look as goth as I could for this photo.|
You can see Josh's head in the background, by the by.
