Joyously Buried Child

I Ching forecast for the upcoming Triton College production of Buried Child:

The Joyous: "Success! Perseverance is favorable".

We're advised that "The joyous mood is infectious and therefore brings success. But joy must be based on steadfastness if it is not to degenerate into uncontrolled mirth. True joy, therefore, rests on firmness and strength within, manifesting itself outwardly as yielding and gentle."

Good advice for any theatre artist, I reckon.

For discussion and practice.

So that all sounds very nice.
