Corn Mo
The thing about Corn Mo is that he is really strange, and puerile, but very, very sincere. I think sincerity really makes up for a lot of other things. 'I Wish you Were my Home' is basically a love song, and even during that bit where he sings about the old man guiding them around through wooden replicas of Mr. T and Laverne and Shirley, it is clear that those things mean something, at least to Corn Mo.
And sure, it's silly to sing so sincerely about the fact that 'Cheese is good', but hey -- cheese is good.
