Cast me off so discourtiously...
One of the things that occupied a lot of my time today and yesterday, as I mentioned in passing, was learning how to play "Greensleeves". There are many interesting facts that wikiperdia.org can tell you about the song, such as the popular (if unconfirmed) rumor that it was composed by Henry the VIIIth himself, after Ann Bolyn rejected him at first. They also claim that the melody is the same as "What child is this", which I already new, and also "I saw Three Ships", which seems rather more doubtful. Most interesting of all, however, was this:
"Greensleeves" is also the authorized march of the Canadian Forces Dental Branch.
Who knew? I bet your Canadian friend don't even know. Go on, test 'em!
